General Description
:
Located in the petite picturesque village of portmagee, gateway to valentia island and skellig rocks, portmagee is a good example of today’s modern, yet traditionally styled ultramodern hostels.
The hostel has a variety of warm, spacious and shining bedrooms, including twin, family and bunk rooms, as well as en suite twofold rooms. Bed linen is supplied.
The 2 self-catering cottage-style kitchens are graceful and fully equipped with all the ultramodern utensils and equipment you need to prepare your own meals. There are 2 shining and sunny dining rooms.
There is also a lounge with a tv, dvd player and a radio.
The hostel also has a garden and a car park.
With snug affordable accommodation the hostel makes a great base from which to explore this gorgeous part of ireland.
The village of portmagee and its harbour were once a haven for smugglers and pirates. Today it is a fishing village, well known for its brightly painted houses, traditional pubs and quality restaurants, where fresh fish is served daily straight from the boats.
