General Description
:
The coach dwelling hotel is a new boutique-style hotel situated in oranmore, galway. The hotel opened in july 2007, and consists of sixteen en-suite bedrooms, the dwelling bistro which has already gained a superb reputation for its classic dishes, and a modern hotel bar. Parking is on-site and galway city is 10 minutes away. A sixteen-bedroomed hotel in the heart of oranmore village, the coach dwelling, although newly-built, incorporates much of the original structure of an elderly coach dwelling used for the distribution of ale as far back as the 1930s. numerous of the features of this elderly building can be seen throughout the hotel, particularly in the dwelling bar where the fusion of the elderly stonework and opulent new furnishings has been accomplished with perfection. The use of candlelight in the rear section of the bar adds to the authentic feel of the coach dwelling, and creates an intimate ambience which must be seen to be appreciated. The front section of the dwelling bar is furnished with opulent tub-style seating, and a characteristic fireplace adds to the fantastic ambience of this unique bar. The dwelling bar is frequented by locals and guests alike, and the weekend ambience of oranmore has to be experienced here.
