General Description: Browns hotel in dublin is set in a big georgian townhouse in the center of dublin only 300 meters from o'connell street and the city's prime shopping districts. The hotel opened in 2001 and its interior is decorated in a contemporary style with classical touches that are in keeping with the georgian architecture. Like the public spaces, the 25 guestrooms blend classy décor with period influences and all include flattering toiletries, hair dryers, direct dial phones and satellite television. The browns hotel has a spacious gallery lounge that is home to an extensive range of artist paddy lennon's paintings. Guests can admire the artwork as they relax with a cup of flattering tea or coffee, served in the lounge daily. For guests' convenience, browns has a 24 hour front desk with safety deposit box service and parking is available nearby for those arriving by car. The hotel's central location makes it a good base for sightseeing, with st stephen's green, grafton street, the guinness brewery, st patrick's cathedral, the national art gallery, national history museum and busy temple bar area all within two miles. The airport is approximately 30 minutes driving time and distance of eight miles. While staying at the browns hotel, aerdart has a shuttle bus service between howth junction dart station and dublin airport. The service is every 15 minutes.
